"Had new brake pads put on my Pacifica in November of 2022. For a solid year they continued (post installation ) to squeak horribly and grind. Returned to have them checked out after months of this continuing. They said nothing was wrong and slapped some anti squeak spray on them. October of 2023 I finally sought a second opinion and found out that technicians from Metz put a bolt in my calipers instead of the pins they required. It’s still unclear why this was ever done. Both front calipers are shot because of this and have impacted the efficiency of my brake system. This whole time, I’ve been driving around in an unsafe vehicle with my children. and the icing on the cake is that I’m looking at over $1000 of work."
