"Don't come here if you have TMJ issues. I had to visit 2 ENTs before finding I have TMJ problems, which put me about 6 months at the visit. My tinnitus started with an ear infection, then I aggravated my jaw it I think mostly chewing gum to distract. This wasn't the first recommended place by the ENT office, but I went ahead and visited because the other one is very far scheduled out. When I visited it was about 1.5 months after visiting the ENT that diagnosised I have TMJ issues. The recommendations from the ENT (soft food diet and don't chew gum) I had only followed 1.5 months. After following the recommendations, my jaw has been sore daily. The doc examined me and just said learn to live with the tinnitus. She didn't address if or when to expect my jaw to stop being sore. She didn't give a diagnosis. She didn't confirm or dismiss if I have TMJ issues. My tinnitus and jaw soreness are always better in the morning after sleeping. She stated that a splint for teeth grinding wouldn't do anything because I am always better in the morning. What is the point of even bringing this up? It really smells like about all the can do for TMJ is a splint if you grind your teeth, anything else they are out of the capability EDIT: I have had a number of days since that the soreness is better, and the tinnitus has also been better on those days EDIT 2: Found out I grind my back teeth at night and I have a bit imbalance due to a crown sitting too high. They missed both of these issues"
"This was the worst orthodontist I have ever been to! I had braces as a teenager so i know how things are supposed to work. I took my 10 year old daughter here for treatment and the female Doctor Dr. Johnson, she seen was the worst. She was horrible to my daughter and she made rude comments about her teeth. This was seriously the worst experience for my daughter. She also wanted to sit and argue with me in front of my daughter ,when I tried to express my concerns. I would never recommend this place to anyone. Instead we went to Imbugia orthodontist and they are amazing! We had prepaid in full for a retainer at quest johnson that they ended up throwing away and didn't even use for the whole time she was supposed to have it. Then we went back to start the braces process but they were so rude we decided to take our business elsewhere. I am soooo glad we did !"
"Office staff was great, Dr Johnson has no business talking to patients the way she talked to my wife during her visit. If I could leave a negative review on here I absolutely would. Don’t recommend coming here for anybody"
"I have always had a good experience here until my last visit. I went in to get my permanent retainer rebonded, and I felt excruciating pain while they were removing the old glue. I came home, and the gum around the tooth was bleeding, and my tooth was immediately super sensitive to touch, hot, and cold. Fast forward about a month, and the sensitivity had not resolved. To add to this, a small gap started to form on my bottom teeth. I go in for an appointment to discuss these concerns, and was immediately met with hostility. The doctor denied that my sensitivity could be related to them removing the glue, stating “no she didn’t hit your tooth, she removed the glue.” She then stated that the gap is “not even noticeable to others.” She told me the next option is to remove the glue from that tooth and leave it unbonded. When I asked if this would open my gap, she stated that that is a likely possibility. Why would she offer to do this if she knows that my gap is likely to open back up? I left in tears. Fast forward a few weeks, and I go to my dentist. My dentist confirms that the glue extended into my gum line and that there was damage to my gums, which is likely a result from them drilling some enamel while removing the glue. She also stated that it is likely that the small gap was caused by the permanent retainer being reglued with a small bend in the wire. For the doctor to deny that her staff could have caused my tooth sensitivity and the small gap between my teeth, only for another professional to confirm this is the case, is ridiculous. Truly I do not think I will ever return to this practice."
