"The staff is always helpful and friendly. I volunteer to do photography for the River City Rock Camp where young kids learn how to play in a rock band. The Granada gives them the opportunity to play at a popular venue. Pretty awesome of them to host this event. It's one of the many things that makes Lawrence a cool place to live. We have local companies that help make this happen and the Granada is one of them. Update: Saw Scary Pockets this past weekend (10/7/23). Great performance all round. What a fun band."

"Very small venue but comfortable and clean as well. Standing room only. I didn't venture around to the bathrooms or anywhere else so can't comment on any of that. The staff were all so amazing, from the ones who greeted us as we camped outside from 7am the day BEFORE, all the way til door times the day of, and handling the insane bs from the day of from other people upset they had to honor those of us who stayed overnight. Everybody that worked there that I came in contact with had it together and handled. So appreciative for them. The sound inside, the lighting, I have zero complaints. Everything went smooth. There is a bar..I didn't stop at it but it looked like it was running smoothly the little bit of time I took to look over."
