"This Gerber site has put its competition across town to shame. After a super poor experience attempting to get an estimate and repair at their competitor, I came to Gerber. Between the estimator (Erin) and the receptionist, they took care of everything on the spot: vehicle inspection and pictures, full printed estimate, getting everything straightened out with insurance, scheduling the repair at my convenience, and even coordinating the car rental for when the car would get dropped off. I got to relax in their nice lobby while all of this was done with an open offer of several coffees to choose from. This really was a night and day difference from my experience at their competitor. Thank you so much for putting the "service" in your service organization!"

"Had fender damage. GM claimed fender was removed to repair. Upon inspection the inside of fender was damaged as well as strut tower from non removal of fender & tech banging out dent with hammer. GM still claimed they removed fender after i showed him & said nothing they could do but to cover it with cavity wax.was clearly not removed. Gerber took couple weeks to finally respond to my calls & messages because they were to busy to attend the concern to try bring vehicle back for them to correct but just got cavity wax to cover the damages. Not one person was in charge of my claim i dealt with several workers there & got differnt responses.. Not one person introduced themselves to me the whole process."
"UPDATE: I have changed this review from 1 to 2 stars after going back to have my rear wiper fixed. The technicians were very nice and candid, and managed to put the wiper in the right position and buff out/clean the fingerprints in paint in less than half an hour. I'm not thrilled with the business overall, for all the reasons mentioned above, but very much appreciate the excellent service I received on the tail end. --- ORIGINAL: Look, I'd really love to review these people well, but I just can't. There were significant delays with the (minor to moderate - left rear bumper) repair, to the point where it took 38 days (14 December to 20 January) to get my car back. While I understand that these things can be quite variable and minor-seeming damage isn't always straightforward to fix, it was extremely frustrating that their estimates for time fluctuated wildly (~2 weeks to over a month) depending on who was talking to me. They provided regular updates (phone calls 2-3x/week), but these updates almost always consisted of variations on the sentence "we have no updates or time estimate", which was frustrating, disheartening, and a waste of both my time and theirs. When I finally went to get my car back, I was unable to determine which location (of two in town) my car was at, as there was not a specific address noted (outside of the admin office address) noted on the paperwork. In trying to call and ask, I discovered that their local phone number redirected to the national company phone number, which then put me on indefinite hold. The number they had called me from repeatedly also redirected to the national line, and I was unable to get a hold of them directly. After picking at random we went to this location, which ended up being correct. Yay. The condition of my car was visually quite nice outside of fingerprint smudges on the hood and in the interior that were not previously present and have not come off with scrubbing - we aren't sure what they are. I will say they did a lovely job of cleaning the inside and outside, though, and didn't leave a smell like some cleanings do. I also appreciated the instructions on how to take care of the new paint, as I would not have considered how long it takes to cure. However, and I will be going back and having this fixed, somehow they managed to take my rear wiper and put it on backwards? I was unaware they even needed to remove it, and I would have fixed it myself but it doesn't seem to be terribly straightforward. I honestly don't even know how they did it, there's a pretty clear orientation and I can't see a way to easily flip it - it's almost like they used a wiper from the wrong model of car. (I'd post a video of the wiper moving if I could on Maps - it's hilarious to be honest. See photo though!) I know that they'll try to contact me after this review, because they have been nothing other than incessant about how badly they want a good one - I've received two phone calls, two emails, and two text messages, as well as a flyer when I picked up the car, telling me that any rating other than a 10/10 isn't good enough and they want to make it right. That's all well and good, especially for things like the paint smudges and the rear wiper, but honestly much of my frustration here comes from their communication. I'd like them to just leave me alone and learn from the experience, and stop being so pushy. I will not be using this shop again and have asked my insurance (USAA) to take note of how all of this went. Again, overall they did fix my problem, but they made it such a hassle that I was honestly extremely sorry that I didn't choose a competitor."
"Very professional and courteous on my initial visit, kept me informed throughout the the entire process. Was very cooperative working with me on the aftermarket parts that were installed on my truck, Jeff was great throughout! Even the tech was great at working with me through the wiring issues with the aftermarket headlights!! Mike and Jeff were very attentive to making sure I was happy with quality of repair. Truck looks great!! Thank you guys!! If ever in need I will be back!"
