Red Roof Inn Moss Point

"Booked a room here for one night. The place stunk of cigarettes. The first room they put me in was flooded. There was ab 1.5 inches of water all over the floor. The next room they put me in didn’t not have any linen. I had two other guest staying with me and when asked for linens, we were given one wash cloth and one towel and were told they didn’t have any more. The room was filthy. However, the receptionist was nice, vending machines worked & it was pet friendly."

"While the people there were nice for the most part, the cleanliness of the rooms is a different story. I stayed in three different rooms here, thinking maybe it was just the previous room and they would give me a clean room since I came back, but unfortunately not. The first room had dirty bed sheets and dirty fridge. The second room had a filthy microwave, the wall had some sort of residue that had a tissue stuck to it, and the toilet had no lid. The third and last one had dirty sheets once again, nasty pads in the trash can, a weird smell, an overfrozen fridge that stayed opened due to it."

"1st, it was supposed to be a nonsmoking hotel but cigarette smoke and other things permeated the hallway and the room. 2nd, they charged me an extra #100 for damage to their bathroom when the shower was already damaged. They're saying that they charged me because I was the last person in the room and I didn't report it when I used the damaged shower. How am I to know that they wouldn't blame me even if I did report it when I saw it? The room was, well, you get what you pay for. The aftermath of being charged extra for something I didn't do, well, they won't ever have to worry about receiving my business again."

"The rooms at this property are supposed to be non-smoking. However, I smelled cigarettes in the hall. Would have been nice if they had a place to put down or hang a garment bag. Also, would have liked an additional garbage can in the bathroom. There was none in the bathroom. I did like the fact that they did have shampoo and soap in the shower, and by the wash basin. The hotel personnel should keep their internal disputes behind closed doors, and not out in public where guests can hear what's going on. Also didn't need the early morning front desk person sharing a sorid story about a former maintenance person."
