"I have been going to Jasmin’s since I discovered that she was literally a block from me. It has been three years of eyebrow perfection. Everyone I’ve referred thanks me profusely for telling them about her. One of my Indian-American friends always went to her person of decades on Devon. She now goes to Jasmine. I’m not going to negate the reviewer’s experience but I’ve never experienced it. I had been using threading as my preferred technique for nearly 20 years. Some people are awful and others you don’t even feel it. Jasmine was wonderful. I switched from threading to wax because my pain tolerance diminishes with time. Her threading technique did not change, my tolerance for threading did. I’ve had wax for a little over a year. Never an issue. Jasmine has a flat price for waxing various facial parts. I don’t understand the reviewer being upset that she wasn’t charged less for her services, since she considers herself to have “less” facial hair. If she didn’t want to be charged, she could get her own tweezers and do it herself. I literally have a couple of chin hairs. If I ask for their removal, it is a separate rate, as it should be. If I don’t want to pay it, I can pull out the magnifying mirror and tweezers. Her prices are beyond reasonable, especially considering Hyde Park rents. Also, Rebekka is one of the nail techs and she is amazing and reasonably priced. Very hard to book, so make your appointment in advance."
