"This Hotel was horrible. The older Indian Lady that works there that cleans the rooms told her workers to just change the top sheets only. Lord knows how many people germs we slept on. My room had mold in it also. The smoke detector hung from the ceiling with wires hanging out, Lamp shades had RIP and tears, The plug-in outlets were not intact, the air conditioner was dirty with mold, every corner in room had mold, the refrigerator had rust in it and the filter had mold in it. All those days staying there and we were exposed to all of this. We traveled 10 hours to this place. Rooms were scarce so we didn't have any choice to stay...The Indian Guy who worked there told us we were trouble because we told him the room was not cleaned correctly. How is that trouble because your wife don't clean properly. What kind of people do Scooba, Mississippi have running businesses. Something needs to be done. I had to move from The Western Hotel in Scooba, Mississippi because I told the man and his wife that it's unsanitary to not change linens mam and sir. That was on January 5, 2019. The next night it was pouring down raining and cold. My fiancee went to the office to get the key from the front desk. The Indian guy told him you cannot get key. My fiancee explained to him he's been to the front desk to pay for our stay and has gotten keys since our stay. He told him, "No!!! No!!! I bring key to her,". He did just that. UPON GOING to pay for another day the next morning. I was told after having a room from December 24, 2018- January 7, 2019 I was told, "Me have No Vacancy," You people cause trouble everyday". I then told him Sir your lying on us. We are good people we don't cause trouble. I asked them to print out my stay. He told me at first that he cannot and I need to leave. I then told him No you will give me my receipts for our stay and I'm not leaving until you do. He finally gave in and wrote out the dates of the receipts but he wanted me to get the info from my bank. The Nerve of people. I felt so bad that we got treated that way. My last words to him was, "Go back where you came from Devil, You will not steal my Joy!!! I rebuke you Satan!!!! We then went on down the road to another Hotel In Macon, Mississippi called The Oaktree Inn. This place was so ridiculous. Rooms we paid for had bed bugs In one and the other was dirty. I asked for my money back and the front desk clerk told me I could not get my money back because her manager wasn't there. I took a deep breathe. I told her that this is uncallful and ridiculous. I have not gotten my $60 back on my bank card yet. Where does these people come from running businesses like this? I pray it gets better for people In Mississippi. It's really sad!!!!"
