"My husband and I had a short weekend getaway for my birthday and The Potters Wheel Cabin @ Cabins at Midway did not disappoint!! From the moment we walked in it felt like a home away from home. It was decorated for Christmas BEAUTIFULLY. TJ the property manager had fresh brewed southern sweet tea and a treat waiting for us and Christmas music playing. When you lay down in the bed it feels like you’re sinking into heaven. The views over the marina and water are gorgeous. This is perfect for couples or famlies and we plan to take our kids back the next time we go. Also TJ is a dream to work with she goes the extra mile for her travelers, there was bad weather in the area and she made a point to stay in communication with us for our saftey. Run…don’t walk to make your reservation for this beautiful place!!"

"We stayed at Cabins at Midway during Thanksgiving. We were fortunate to also have the other two cabins for relatives. This a lovely place to kick back and relax and enjoy the quiet. The small restaurant nearby serves great Old Fashions and tasty food. We will definitely return."

"My wife and I really loved staying in the Tombigbee cabin, which is the cabin most private of the three. This was our anniversary and everything was so well taken care of the staff is AMAZING, especially TJ, and the staff at the restaurant. The food is amazing so get there early. We will definitely be staying here again."

"We visited the cabins for something special for our daughter before school started back. We arrived on a Friday evening and we were happy with the cabin and the surrounding area. We went fishing Saturday afternoon and all was going well. We finished fishing and returned to the cabin to find it very warm. It was 76 degrees and there wasn't any cool air coming out. I tried contacting the number available and didn't get an answer as the night went on it crossed 80 degrees. We decided to stick it out and that's what we did. On Sunday I received a call from the manager and was told they were sorry and she would speak to the owner and possibly get a free night or half off of a night. I was good with this as that sounded fair as I knew this was out of their control. The following day I received an email that stated I could get 20% off of my next stay. So after ruining 18 hours or roughly half of our stay we were offered a 20% discount. Needless to say, I rejected that offer and will not be returning. I'm sure the place is generally good, but for us it was not."
