"Only giving stars because once a year you might be able to find miscellaneous (equipment) you need on the shelf. Other than that - itd be faster and more cost effective to go straight through a manufacturer, or Steven R Jenkings (they're in a rougher area, and I still prefer to make that 35 minute drive and get what I need, than the 10 minute drive to constantly be disappointed by this business). *THE PICTURES OF INTERIOR OF THE STORE ARE FROM YEARS AGO WHEN IT USRD TO BE 911 UNIFORM SUPPLY UNDER DIFFERENT OWNERSHIP...WHO ACTUALLY HAD STUFF IN STOCK. THIS IS NOT WHAT NELSONS LOOKS LIKE INSIDE- DONT EXPECT THIS MUCH STUFF TO BE IN STOCK!!! My employer went through a major design change, and opted to use Nelson as the supplier. Put my order in mid October for clothing and equipment. Come late December, I find out the order was just placed mid December. They claim because they were waiting for confirmation from my employer. Forgive me if I'm wrong, but I'm making an order and paying with my money...why delay an order for MONTHS pending my employer when it's not their order or money. Now that my order was finally placed (2 months after I ordered, sized and PAID for everything, it shows up after 3 more months, when I was told 6-8 weeks. This specific part (most important) was a new carrier vest. Shows up COMPLETELY wrong. The only thing right about the custom build vest, was its color. Layout, style, attachments, ridiculously wrong. They proceed to blame manufacturer, when in reality (come to find out) they built the order wrong... after another 3 months of waiting, my corrected vest arrives.....and it's WRONG again! I end up taking it to wear, because i haven't been able to keep my OG vest secure for months now due to worn down material. I wait several more months, and 3rd times the charm....except for the embroidery style and hook/loop fasteners are still wrong...Can't catch a break - I'm done giving this place my money, I just deal with the wrong vest, while I go to Steven R Jenkins for a correct version. Do everything over the phone, and have it in under 5 weeks....completely correct...shocker. I ordered 2 long sleeve shirts, two pairs of pants, and 2 short sleeve shirts, all Blauer. In January, I get one short sleeve shirt, and 2 pants. It's January so I'd prefer long sleeve. February, remaining shirts still not delivered, and staff tell me it's backorder from Blauer, and has been for a while. Why let people place an order for clothing that's been on back order for almost a year? Or at least without telling them at time of order? March, still no clothing.. so, I cancel that clothing order and check Blauers website.. Much to my surprise, NONE of the shirts i had ordered through Nelson were back ordered. My very specific size and color was indeed in stock. I placed an order on BLAUERS website, and no joke, they were on my porch 2 1/2 days later....That about summarizes all the other issues I had with equipment (which they say they'll order for you...then after several months, blame the manufacturer for not shipping them yet... but when you order from that same manufacturer directly, they show up easily within days, and at the same price... If you want an easy process for the same price...Use Jenkins or direct from manufacturer.....or even Amazon."

"Was supposed to get my product SIX months ago and they said it would take about 12 weeks to get it in. Unacceptable. They need to revamp their business because nothing is flowing efficiently and they’re wasting a lot of time making sales that cannot be fulfilled"

"Every time I deal with them either in store or via phone call they never take me serious. In store they were helping me find the shirt and size I needed, then just walked away started helping others walking in and never once bothered to help me again. Another time I call them and tell them what I'd like to order, they are confused, then put me on hold for the next 6 minutes until I hang up. I'll be taking my orders elsewhere."

"This company is getting too big for their britches! Can't fulfill orders, they don't call customers back. And their time-frame is way later than promised. If you're used to working with Galls and waiting months, then go ahead! Same concept here! They are nothing but a middleman, who can't answer questions about your order, and always blame it on the manufacturer...."

Both the owners and the manager of 911 Uniform Supply have served on police and fire departments and are so knowledgeable on everything needed to get the job done! They have 5.11 , Propper, plus scrubs and footwear! They are the most genuine people and I will for sure be coming back and send all my friends and family here to get their uniform and tactical gear needs!"
