"Just to start - This is the place you take people from out of town to show them a gem in Chicago! Also a great place for a romantic date or romantic dinner The service is magnificent - super professional and nice just superb employees from the front desk to every person working to serve each table The food was amazing - we started with cocktails - they were easy to drink. For food we order the meatballs to start and they were heavenly - then for the main courses the carbonara was 8/10 - the chicken parm was out of the world with a HUGE portion of 16 oz which makes it an amazing meal on its own like 9.5/10 - I added the side of spaghetti which wasn’t as magical, it was just fine I would say 6/10 - we had a side of Crispy potatoes which was great with a spicy kick 9/10 and the dressing they give was magnificent I wish we had more Lastly for the dessert we ordered the chocolate cake 8/10 which had a hazelnut kick to it as well as a side of vanilla gelato 9.5/10 which was to die for and finally it is not an Italian meal without a cappuccino in the end Overall a wonderful place that you have to visit if you are in Chicago and a place I would love to go back again!"

"Just had dinner here for Restaurant Week last night. Everything was delicious and portion sizes were very satisfying. Absolute favorite off the RW menu was the Canestri pasta. I normally love Cacio e Pepe but all I tasted in theirs was butter, it wasn’t cheesy like it should be. They know how to do marinara sauce there! The meatballs, the Canestri, and the chicken parm all in some fire marinara. And I’m not normally a big red sauce fan but it was so good! For drinks, I tried the Goodnight Kiss which definitely had some heat to it and was pretty strong. My husband just had an old fashioned. Not sure cocktails are their thing. Mine was really just ok and all of the people around us who ordered cocktails it seemed hadn’t touched them much. I switched to a glass of the Cabernet and that was much better and paired much better with the meal. Service was great. It was packed but it was also a Saturday night during RW so that is to be expected. Overall we really liked it, we felt like $52 for a 4-course meal was a great value with the portion sizes they gave and food we got to try, and we would look forward to coming back."

"I loved the cozy and quiet atmosphere at this restaurant. Plenty of space and quiet enough where you can talk to your party. The food was more forgettable. The bread and oil was great and we liked the balsamic Brussel sprouts. The pasta was relatively normal and the sausage and meatball was on the colder side and not very tender."

"Not the best Italian food we have had… it’s decent, middle of the road Italian. The dishes could use some refinement. It also rubbed us the wrong way when they labeled a glass of Duckhorn wine as Decoy wine. When we asked the waiter which was it, he admitted it was Decoy (that’s a difference of $50)!"
