"Absolutely delicious food. My husband brought me here on a Valentine’s date. Truth be told, when we first walked in my initial reaction was “where have you taken me?” We’re from way out of town. And the decor is definitely 90s. I was concerned. But I’m happy to report I was wrong. The service was amazing. Our food was incredible. I got the flaming kabob and my husband got the N.Y. Strip. Both were mouthwatering. And truth be told the decor grew on me and I loved it before I left. It’s no wonder the line was out the door."

"The steaks are wonderful, but not sure why it's called Little Zagreb as there are very few ethnic items from that location. The restaurant is super crowded all the time, so the servers appear super busy. The flaming kabob is the least expensive steak (and most fun) on the menu, so they run out pretty quickly. Meatball appetizer is huge."

"We've been going to Zagreb's for over 40 years. Probably been there 50 times and NEVER got a bad steak...until last night. Knew the moment we saw it that it didn't "look" like a Zagreb's ribeye. Should have trusted my instinct but didn't. Way more gristle than any steak I'd gotten there - ever. Not really complaining. Law of averages had to catch up at some point, but yah, disappointed to break my string. Everything else was awesome as usual, including the meatballs and the shrimp cocktail. Still would not hesitate to return or to recommend Zagreb's. Not the fanciest place on the planet, but it's still one of the best. Just gonna have to start another string of great meals sometime soon!"

"This. This is why I slowed my trip down and took a two day delay. I was told this steakhouse was worth it. And you know what? It absolutely is. A fancier restaurant with a high end feel, I was warmly welcomed despite my lack of reservation. I chose the sirloin and it was perfect. Cooked medium rare as requested, it was absolutely delicious and I love that my waitress was able to locate some horseradish to really bring out the flavor. The salad was very good, the baked potato was perfect. I opted against dessert because I was stuffed. This is a great spot to impress, whether a business meeting or a date or your parents coming to town for to visit you at University. Absolutely not cheap but well worth it."

"Meat and potatoes. JLZ, doesn't offer a whole lot of options, but what they do offer, they serve with excellence. I tried the New York strip steak and every bite was delicious. My beef was cooked exactly as ordered as was that of everyone in our party. Whoever is on the grill knows about cooking steak. The atmosphere was a bit rowdier than expected / we hoped for, mainly due to another certain table. It was mostly easy to talk at a normal level and be heard at our table. The waitstaff was prompt, attentive, polite, and knowledgeable about the menu. It's the kind of food you CAN cook for yourself at home, but it's worth paying a real expert to do it perfectly."
