"The food was excellent, but the service was unexpectedly bad. First, we had a reservation, and we were seated fast. We were seated at a table for two that 2 small children could barely sit at. We were against a wall with table covers in a barrel behind me and my wife had two bus buckets behind her with clean dishes for setting the tables. I said hell no and asked to be moved. We were moved to a better table. We ordered appetizers and again the food was great but no one came to take any plates or dishes until the main course and I had to ask them to take them. Out waitress came by 3 times before the check. The food was great but overall the experience was not acceptable. They weren't even that busy. We have been there several times and it has always been a really nice experience. What happened?"

"THEY CHARGE A 20% GRATUITY FEE!!! I went to this restaurant in a group of 3 for their Thanksgiving buffet, and not only was there little to no choice in food, but they also tipped themselves! Nowhere on their Thanksgiving menus did it indicate that they will take gratuity, let alone of 20%! We ended up tipping 18% of THAT total because we did not realize, so our total tip was $65 for a $157 meal!!! $50 per person for a choice of dry turkey, chewy ham or mushy potatoes, and on top of that they took 20% gratuity FOR A BUFFET! That is insane, I will never be returning to this greedy and sneaky place. It’s disgraceful!"

"I had the most amazing and special time here today. The food was delicious, seriously spectacular! Highly recommend the muscles in white wine sauce. The staff were seriously amazing and so kind, and recommended wonderful wine pairings. It was my birthday and they made it truly a special experience. They brought out two free deserts for my partner and I, which was not needed but sooo appreciated! The ambiance is also wonderful inside and outside. I loved the whole vibe of this place. Thank you for an amazing experience I will def return and recommend this place to my friends and family!"

"Our first experience here was very nice. I wish we would’ve picked to sit inside instead of outside. Outside dining is a little squished and you’re close to other tables and we left like we were interrupting a business meeting with our conversation and laughter. However, I will not hold that to the restaurant because it is located in downtown Frankfort. Service is very professional and the quality of food is excellent. A must try! We are planning our next visit and look forward to trying other menus items."

"Food ***** Ambiance ***** Service ***** Price **** We eat here a lot, can’t say enough good. I like the Giattana chopped salad (not on the menu), the grilled Octopus, Chicken Parmesan and so many more delicious plates we’ve eaten here, can’t remember them all. Everything is very very good. The ambiance is fantastic, very charming, clean with super service. If I had one complaint it would be the prices, so I knocked one star off only. But still worth coming over and over again. We like to walk around town after a good meal, ice cream or candy from Raffys just a couple blocks down. This place is so quaint and warm."
