Reviews of Walgreens Pharmacy
"Always have some problem with our medication, they forget to order, can't find our medications, they make excuses and will even lie to cover mistakes"
"We always have problems with Walgreens Pharmacy. They never have anything in stock. My daughter has Flu B and the urgent care sent her prescription to Walgreens. Big mistake especially when she is nearing the 48 hour mark for taking tamiflu. First they couldn't get her insurance to work then when they finally did they tell me they don't have what she needs and it's 5:30pm at night with all the pharmacies about to close. Thankfully we called Walmart and they are going to get her prescription filled for us. Whatever you do avoid Walgreens Pharmacy! Walmart got her prescription from Walgreens and had it filled in 10 minutes!! Thank you Walmart Pharmacy!!"
"I wouldn’t even give them a one star but that was the only option. The person who fills prescriptions in this pharmacy is Rude and refuses to do their job. My husband has 2 insurances and the second one being Medicare which is supposed to pick up what my insurance doesn’t,cover on his diabetes supplies, insulin, pump infusions, sensors for glucose. They have NEVER gotten it to go through and they always give a difference excuse as to why. I call Medicare and they say Walgreens never filed the claims. They even went as far as to tell my husband that he should try Publix which is in Decatur and out of our way. Pretty sad when you don’t do your job and want the customer to go somewhere else. They are lazy and useless !!"
"I was denied pharmacy service by the manager of Walgreen’s after I filed a complaint against the pharmacist (Harsh Patel) for calling me on more than one occasion and harassing me after I told him to cease. I could hardly understand him either, yet apparently he is a doctor of pharmacy and an MBA - why is it so difficult to speak English, yet somehow he was able to graduate with degrees in the English language?! The manager even made fun of my military service, so I’ve reported him as well to Walgreen’s corporate (everyone has a boss). I informed him that he can’t deny service of medical prescriptions on those ground and have reported the pharmacist to the state board as well. The manager, Jared Boyles, engaged in discriminatory activities against a protected individual and I intend to see the consequences through to finality. It would be different if this Walgreen’s had a great reputation, had stellar service when we visited, or just replaced their light bulbs in the outside (most are burnt out). Instead, this manager thought it’d be funny to mock a military veteran and try and deny service because I complained about his buddy, the pharmacist! Go back to Muscle Shoals, Jared Boyles, you don’t belong here. And I’ll be waiting for that “denial of service” letter in the mail, which is how this should be handled. Oh wait, that has to come from Walgreen’s Corporate and that would mean you’d have to tell on yourself (too late). And you’re welcome for your national defense, boy. #Rookie #LetTheAdultsDoTheWork #YouDontUnderstandSacrifice"
"I went in and hour to closing to pharmacy and needing my wife's blood pressure meds which she needs bad and they wouldn't fill it and then got smart. You need to really be careful how talk to folks. I pray my wife doesn't have a heart attack and maybe y'all should too. Very disappointed!!?"
