"I was low on gas travelling near the base, and being a lover of visiting new military bases, I decided to go out of my way and head to Columbus AFB to get gas and see the base. The base itself was wonderful and beautiful, but this shoppette was terrible. It was the only place to get gas on base, and none of the pumps were dispensing any. There were no signs saying it was out, and no one was working at the shoppette that day. Barely made it to the closest gas station off base before I ran out. I know the AF doesn't care about these reviews, but this is just a warning to any travelers who, like me, love to stop at bases they've never been to before: Get gas before you're on base, or have enough to make it off in case they're out."
