Hyatt Regency Birmingham - The Wynfrey Hotel

"This is a convenient hotel in the middle of a mall and food and other activities around. The bed was comfortable and the room was nice. The hospitality was good and the staff was friendly. I stayed overnight on vacation, and I would recommend it again. The parking is expensive per night, 20-25$. The Customers' service was great. There are not many options for food on site. But a Whataburger is 24 hrs, literally 3-4 mins away."

"The property it’s self is date, but by being connected to the mall is very convenient. I was due to check in Friday and the front office manager was disgustingly rude and obnoxious. I was told to go somewhere else if I could not wait when Check in is at 4pm and I was turned away at 3:00. I travels from Montana. At $200 a night I decided not to stay after the way i was treated! Decided to stay at the embassy suites 5 minutes away and I do not regret it!"

"Arrived and was told that I was that day's "lucky guest." I was handed a coupon for a "free appetizer" to Merk's Tavern & Kitchen located onsite. I was told that it also meant free parking, which they were telling the truth about. I already had plans for dinner at a local BBQ joint with a friend of mine, and I've never been a fan of eating at onsite restaurants due to the prices in most hotels. I never ate at Merk's, and never used their coupon. When I got home, I realized that they charged my room $33.00 for Merk's Tavern & Kitchen Dinner Food. I never ate there. Spent the past two weeks contacting the hotel and getting promised calls back, only to never hear anything from anyone. I have tried following up with them multiple times and have requested to speak with hotel management, and never get a response. I have left voicemails that are never returned. I think it's about time to turn them into the Attorney General for fraudulent business practices. Needless to say, I'll be removing this hotel from our Corporate business partnership listing for future business travel to the area."

"We attended a party there, so we didn’t get a chance to stay in the rooms overnight. The staff was incredible! They were more than accommodating, especially all the staff at the entrance that are valet, and or assistants! Some of the nicest ones I’ve ever encountered❤️! And this hotel enters right into the galleria mall, directly at the food court so that’s another special feature."

"Decent hotel. I noticed at one point they made updates to the rooms, but you can tell some of the updates were rush jobs. The employees at the front desk were nice and helpful. The price to park is a bit much and was a tad bit confusing. But a central location to shops and restaurants in that area. Would recommend if you need a place to stay for the night."
