"Hello all, I’ve stayed at 100s of choice hotels in the past 10 years and never left a bad review until now. Most are pleasant with great attitudes however this one is an exception. I’ve never had a hotel as a diamond member of choice come in my room b4 checkout demanding I be out at 11. They called multiple times before 11. As a choice member one of the privledges is early check in late checkout. Now I could understand the demand of the room if said rooms were booked out but the parking lot is empty and know this room was not needed after we left. They wouldn’t let my roommate get a key even though his name is on the paperwork. Just horrible customer service. Room itself was decent for the money however I’d rather stay somewhere I’m treated well than a place that can’t let you sleep that’s worried if you don’t leave at 11 the worlds going to end! Choice I suggest you get this chain in line as it gives all choice hotels a bad reputation! I certainly will never stay here again!!"

"Convenient and cheap place to crash for a few hours on the road. Rooms are very dated, but ours was very clean. Interstate traffic noise comes right though the front door/wall and we could clearly hear the guests in the room next to us having a normal volume conversation. White noise app on the phone made for a comfortable stay."

"12/22/23-12/25/23 stay dates. They have refused to refund 100 that they stole stating the room was a mess. I cleaned the room and everything. The picture of my arm is a little of how clean the room was too. Kathy at the front desk hung up on me. I'm still waiting to get my 100. UPDATE: only AFTER posting this review did I receive a 50 refund. I still haven't received the full 100 that was stolen from me and I never got an answer as to why this money was taken in the first place. UPDATE 2: Since they have stated that I was the one who started screaming. I was charged 100 dollars according to their front desk receptionist. They refunded me 50. She stated the room was a mess. I asked what was a mess because I cleaned the room before I left and was pretty thorough. Your receptionist pretended not to hear a word I said and hung up. I had to call back. She then started yelling at ME, telling me I was yelling at her for asking what I can do to prevent whatever mess I made. She interrupted me again to say something about my attitude that I definitely didn't have. I told her I'm sure shes used to the crackheads but please don't be rude to try and lighten her up and she went ballistic and hung up."

"My husband and I had to make a trip to Athens for my sister's funeral. We stayed 2 nights. The lady at the desk was very nice and informative. Our room was nice and the heater worked great! There were some stains on the bathroom floor, behind the door that was questionable and it was dirty on the baseboard in the corner by the tub, but the beds were pretty comfy and it met our basic needs. Thank you econo lodge for great prices and great location!!"

"We stayed 10/26/23. Got there that night the lady in front done a good job meeting to our needs. The room was clean and neat. Needed some updating but staff has no control over that. But, the main thing after we left, my husband discovered he didn’t have his billfold. We went back, and a BIG THANK YOU to your cleaning staff who had found it and turned it in. To ask if we would stay again, YES!"
