"In one word...horrible. No shower curtain, broken carpet, dirty walls, worn-out furniture, no batteries in tv remote, sofa sinks in the middle...and so on and on. Ridiculously bad. If stars could be given negatively, this would be a -10."

"I do not know where the 5 star reviews are coming from. I would not stay at this facility ever again. It is obvious that the owners are milking the property for every cent they can get and not putting anything back into the property. (1) Full size refrigerator/Freezer. The Freezer could not keep Ice frozen. We had a bag of ice and two frozen water bottles that were more melted then when we arrived. (2) Carpeting. - This was filthy in the room and the hallway. There were food remnants stuck to the carpet near the bed. There was a tear out in the hallway near the door and the hallway was the dirtiest carpet I have seen in my travels. (3) Sofa - The sofa was filthy and stained and we did not sit on it (4) Microwave - Was dirty on the inside (5) Bathroom door had dried residue of coffee or Coke on it. (6) Deadbolt to door - did not work. Some positive news - We did not see any bugs! Given our stay and the lack of working Ice Machines... we did not partake in the breakfast that was included. Also, we were not the only guests muttering that we would never stay there again. One final note: It is confusing to find this property. The building is dual branded Sleep Inn/Mainstay Suites. Mainstay sign is on the building, Sleep Inn is on the Goal post sign."

"Going to keep this one fairly short and simple. Room was dirty with refuse and leftover bits of the previous occupants food all over, bedding was dirty with stains, walls marred with markings and damage beyond just wear and tear. AC was useless. Overall, not the best."

"REGRET! My boyfriend and I travel extensively for work. We ended up here in Meridian Louisiana just for one night. Like every other day, we tossed around where to stay since we're unfamiliar with this area. Being as we travel so much we get reduced rates thru our corporate code on the Choice app. He suggested Holiday Inn but I cheaped out and decided to save a few dollars and stay here. First off, we pulled in and realized it was in the same building as Sleep Inn which has horrible reviews online. Since we already booked we decided to try it. Bad decision! We checked in and as soon as we entered the hall I noticed very large stains all over the hallway carpet. When we entered our room the first thing we noticed was the strong smell of dog. I have allergies and NEVER get a pet room. Then we noticed the large hole in the wall due to the door hitting it. Next was the carpet that has been pieced together, the trim pieces missing from the walls, and the room wasn't very cold. I turned the AC to 60 and on high. I then entered the bathroom. So gross. The floors were dirty with hair still on it, the shower had mildew, and the shower doors looked like they used a dirty rag to wipe them down. The couch in the room looks like it was bought at a thrift store, it's old and is stained. The room never got very cool (I like it a little cooler than usual to sleep) but at least it wasn't hot. I paid $104 with tax for this room. I could have spent $10 more and stayed at the holiday inn which is definitely what I'll do next time. I wouldn't recommend this hotel."
