Reviews of Invited To The Table
"This place is so unique and delicious. The scones are so moist and flaky. Sweet and they also have savory ones too. All of the baked goods look amazing (cookies and muffins)! I have been here twice and have not been disappointed. I wish I lived closer. Coffee and drinks are wonderful too. The owner is super sweet and the staff I have met have been very friendly! Give it a try!!"
"I visit Invited at least once a week, but usually more. Their coffee is my favorite in the area! The pastries are delicious also — my favorite is the blueberry lemon muffin. And, the new grain bowls are so good, and come with amazing portions! The owner and all of the employees are so kind. They are actually some of the first people I met when moving to Pendleton and were so kind to give me suggestions on where to get involved! The building itself is so pretty inside and such a calming place to spend time. I love getting a coffee and spending time on the front porch! Such a charming place in downtown Pendleton!"
"Such a great cafe in cute downtown Pendleton with unique coffee offerings alongside specialty bakery items. I sat upstairs with a group of girlfriends in a cozy and updated atmosphere and was able to enjoy the view of the downtown area. They are now offering grain bowls, another fresh offering! Outstanding! I will definitely be back to try the other menu items. You should make this a regular stop for coffee, on the go, and if you have time to sit, enjoy the full menu."
"Invited has become my go-to place on a day off for a good coffee and bakery treat. We have also tried their breakfast waffles and omelets, which are delicious. I usually end up with leftovers of my waffle because there is so much. The cinnamon rolls are delicious and the cranberry orange scones make me want to stop there every day! The atmosphere is quiet for doing some work on my laptop or reading a book. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend."
"Invited To The Table is a definitely one of those places that makes you feel at home. I know there’s mixed reviews of service being slow or food not being great but this brunch spot offers a place for great community and I think that’s there goal from what I can read/tell. We were fortunate enough to walk in Saturday midday and had no wait issues. We were helped with ordering by a lovely newer worker. I got the Bae which was delicious! And my husband got the Chicken & Waffles. He said it was good but wish it would’ve been fried chicken as you’d expect with chicken and waffles (but it did say it came with their house made chicken salad which wasn’t bad). The food isn’t a hardy American brunch so it’s not super filling but it’s a great brunch spot in my opinion for a cute coffee date, small group meeting, or study session. We also got the Invited Signature Latte which was great! Only complaint is that for just two waffles, an iced 16oz coffee, side of eggs, and tip - our total was over $40 which seems steep compared to other brunch places that serve much larger portions for the same price, if not less. They have water stations all around the restaurant that you can help yourself too. Plus plenty of seating options both inside and outside. Surprisingly they were not too busy when we went and we had our food and drink in less than 10mins. Once you get your food you’re not necessarily “waited” on since most of their staff is just behind the counter in the kitchen so they do ask you to clear your own dishes from the table - which is no issue in my eyes at all! Even with that though, the restaurant was well kept and clean. The atmosphere is quaint and homey, and fits the vibe for a smaller town like Pendleton. Would definitely come back for a coffee date!"
