"Berne coats and pants are very well made and tolerate how hard I am on clothes. Their prices are good as well. The "C" brand quality has gotten really bad with waist sizes being 2" different with the same size tag. Berne fit perfect every time. It is nice to have a company these days who makes a good product for a good price. I am on my third set of their pants and I could not be happier. "At first I was happy with the work jeans ...They fit well and are comfortable...so I continued buying them...but then I started noticing the blue jean in them immediately seemed to fade after like two washes then I noticed they always seem to have a dirty matted look about them no matter what detergent used. I honestly thought it must be something on my end ..perhaps my water softener malfunction...my washer machine not working correctly...ok so my profession is overhead doors and lots of dirt and grease...but still it did not make since due to not my first rodeo with work jeans...so I tried out another brand...actually a new brand to me as were the Bernie brand were also. So in closing the other brand is like night and day in comparison but they also were almost twice the price ...but they look clean after washing ...the blue jean look stays...and they seem a bit more heavy duty ...Anyway they wanted my honest review ."

"Only worn for about 2 months so far, but so far they are great. I got a couple pairs of the quarry five pocket and the quarry carpenter. I am very happy with the fit, and seem to fit more like my Levi's. Work buys us carhartt, and while the material is great the fit is always either uncomfortable or very baggy in ankles. I bought a couple of the Berne on sale thinking I couldn't go wrong at price, and was pleasantly surprised. They seem well made, and work very well for me. For some the hammer loop on carpenters may be small, but my radio clips perfectly on it. I talked work into purchasing, and will be buying these from now on."
