Drake's Owensboro 3050 Highland Pointe Drive, Owensboro, KY 42303

"We don't have a Drake's in Bowling Green yet so we tried Owensboro since we were there for a ballgame. There were 10 people in our party. We were seated & drink orders were taken. We got a couple of appetizers. Fried pickles were good at first but bottom half were floating in grease. Food orders were taken but when served by another waitress we had to swap out plates to get everything right. My daughter sent back sweet potato fries that were cold. My tater tots were cold also but I didn't say anything. Food was pretty good then Chloe brought our tickets. Mine seemed kind of high. I then realized she charged for 2 beers & my husband only had 1. We also had a sushi charge that we didn't order. My daughter checked hers & was charged for two Mushroom burgers but only had one. There were other mistakes also. When Chloe came back & she said why don't you just add the 2 tickets together & split the bill in half. I said no because their bill was more. She finally agreed to change the bills. We kept trying to tell her what we ordered but she was halfway listening & talked over everything we said. She brought back the new tickets & it was still wrong. I told her she didn't charge for chicken tenders but charged for my husband's hamburger & also my son in laws. She said they were close to the same price so it would be ok. She refused to redo the tickets for me or my daughter. Then she said, aren't we having a good time? My daughter said we were until all this happened. We might be back but will definitely ask for a different waitress. We normally tip very good but she missed out this time."

"I was there back in August of 2023 for a surprise 70th Birthday I put together for my mom. The Employees were very welcoming of everyone, showed a lot of adoration towards my mom (which made her feel wonderful), and everyone was very accommodating to the group. The food was delicious and the adult beverages were on point!"

"Food was fresh and hot. Service was timely. Husband said it was the best burger that he has had in a while. I had the club and it was massive. Sweet tea was perfectly sweetened. Only downside was going during a UK game. It was so loud we couldn't have a conversation."

"My daughter brought me here the other day for a late mothers day lunch. I'd never been, but immediately upon entering loved the vibes I was getting. The modern decor, relaxing setting, seating, lights, the 80's music also showing the video on the screen while eating. The bartender who served us was very accommodating. I had a tropical margarita and chicken asada tacos. We also had the baked pretzes with queso. I loved the whole atmosphere!!!"

"This was our first time at Drake’s since moving here this year. The atmosphere is like an upscale sports bar. It’s very open, spacious and clean. The booths are huge but sit high up for kids. Didn’t seem very kid friendly. Food was mediocre. However, the chili was good and very beefy."
