"First time and I loved it. Ate all of my food, chef was very entertaining. Great atmosphere, excellent chef! I have shrimp and chicken fried rice."
"First time visiting this establishment. Wait staff was wonderful. Food was amazing. Shrimp tempura was some of the best I've ever had. This will be a must the next time I visit Owensboro."
"It was fun to watch the food being cooked and having it served hot knowing it wasn't sitting in the kitchen ready and waiting to come out. The shrimp was cooked to perfection. The carrots were perfect for me eat as I like them on the softer side rather than just cooked enough to be warm as in other places. It is a nice place to take kids as my grandson enjoys watching them cook the food. I do wish they had asked who wanted chop sticks to eat because I used the one that came with the sushi and my 7 year old grandson wanted to learn. He ate sushi for the first time and loved it."
"Food and service = amazing! In comparison to every West Coast Hibachi grill restaurant I've visited, Shogun's was lacking in presentation. Our Hibachi Chef was kind and cooked beautiful and tasty food. However, there was no presentation- absolutely zero tricks or entertainment value. Not just ours, we had plenty of time, while waiting for our turn to be cooked for, to observe other Hibachi Chefs: same disappointment. We had brought a friend, from the East Coast who had never had Hibachi, who we told how amazing an experience this kind of dining experience could be. A bit of a let down. Odd to see a drive thru. Maybe that should have been the first red flag. Either way, it was yummy. Expensive as expected. Large portions of food. Though I would recommend this place for large delicious food portions, I have a hard time recommending it with the same level of standards that I'm used to expecting."
