"Wish the staff were more nicer and the prices not too high but I guess it is what it is"
"Store was not well managed for non-Spanish speakers. Only some Spanish labels were present and less than half of the vegetables had prices or pictures. Most of the meat had no labels nor pricing. I asked the lady refilling vegetables the cost for a box of mushrooms but she just ignored me, perhaps she didn't understand English but she wasn't willing to get any help. So I was about to walk out with just some jalapenos that based on pictures and prices for $1.09 but I found a bag of discounted pork skin. The label said $0.49 per lbs and the total was $0.77. While paying, I asked for some additional quarters but they refused. Also they charged me $8.99 per lbs for the pork skin and wanted $15 for and they charged me $1.39 per lbs for the jalapenos that were clearly marked with pictures and prices for $1.09. After checking with the back, the lady said the pork skin is $4.99 per lbs and wanted ~$7.50. Then had to get another lady to verify and confirm that jalapenos were indeed $1.09. I ended up just buying some jalapenos. Also to pay, instead of lanes, the cashier is circular and has like three windows. It's confusing because you can be in line in one direction but the other direction can have people arriving later thinking they are in line. It's pretty bad. Personally I am not going back but if you go there, make sure you check your receipt because they were wrong on two out of two items for me. Feels highly like a bait and switch to me and it's left a rather poor impression. This place seems to offer currency movement internationally if you need that."
"Small store, found good quality product. Great for getting Central American, South American and other tropical grocery products like plantains or basic baking supplies. Cashier was very courteous and polite. Aisles were clean."
"I have been going here for 10 years. the store is small but a good selection. Don't go when it is hot because the owners will not replace AC and is get's extremely hot in there and I wonder about food quality when that happens. The butchers are hard working and friendly. Produce usually good. Prices average. The cashiers are extremely rude usually so I go there less often."
