"This all-you-can-eat Arabic buffet for $24/adult is inarguably the best ayce buffet in Lafayette. Newly opened, the restaurant was empty when we ate but the food was fresh and hot. Everything we ate was delicious and included perfectly cooked beef, chicken, lamb, and fish. There were plenty of lentil, eggplant, and rice-based dishes suitable for a filling vegetarian meal. The service was also amazing. The staff is genuinely interested in providing you a good dining experience. If you like Indian or Mediterranean food, or like a great-quality meal, you will like Chef Malek’s restaurant. The only thing I would have enjoyed more about the experience is if the food were more consistently labeled, as there were some dishes I did not recognize. However, the staff was happy to show each main dish to us when we arrived. Don’t skip the desert and tea at the end of your meal!"

"My wife and I decided to try something new in our area, a place we’d never been before. We stumbled onto this restaurant and all I can say is….WOW!! This is some of the best food we’ve had, ever! The flavors of the Mediterranean cuisine did not disappoint, it was authentic and a delight to the taste buds. They service was exceptional and the buffet style offered many options to choose from. We are definitely self appointed food critics when it comes to eating out, and this place deserves a solid five stars!! Highly recommend Chef Maleks!!!"

"My family went here after graduation, and it was $24 per person for the buffet, while for kids I believe it was $12. I loved the lamb dish and the eggplant one, but the chicken and beef were pretty basic. There were a few different types of rice to choose from which were all pretty okay. The baba ghanoush was delicious too, and I recommend you try the lemonade. I wish they had a pita or naan or something, they just have dinner rolls, which I don’t prefer. Also, if you have allergies/serious food restrictions, I do not recommend going here, as the way it’s set up there’s more than likely some cross contamination. Also sometimes the platters run low, but it doesn’t usually take too long to get them refilled, and the waitress is really nice and will let you know if you’re waiting for something. Overall quiet and nice atmosphere, hasn’t been too crowded that I know of."

"This is probably the best place in town for meat lovers. Great selection of meat dishes, kebabs, salads, and such. Price is 24 + tips&tax for adults, 6-13 for kids, but you do get what you pay for as there's lamb, fish, beef, chicken and that drinks are included. Food is great, very welcoming atmosphere. I am still in awe of how many times the server asked me if I'm doing ok/if I need anything/if I need my plates taken. Though I find it great, I can definitely see it being a little overwhelming for introverted people."

"We visited this newly opened Mediterranean buffet today. The food was excellent. If you like Mediterranean food, then you will absolutely love this place. They had very good Kabob, Kibbeh, and other meat options. Their salad options had some very unusual but delicious salad. I wish they will do a more rigorous advertising to attract more customers. We found it by luck as we were driving through that area, otherwise we wouldn’t have heard of this great buffet place."
