"We purchased a 2013 Honda Odessey touring with 140k miles in June of 2023. Initially, impressions were great. The owners worked with us, and we were able to get a few things fixed and bring the price down. However, less than 30 days later (on an out-of-state trip), the van broke down. Turns out the piston rings were bad, and cylinder 3 had an abundance of oil in it, which caused misfiring and spark plug fouling. $6k to fix the rings and install a new sparkplug. I called Gaetta and asked if there was anything they could do and was told that since I test drove it, I should have known of any issues that would arise. To boot, they told me the spark plugs had been changed by their mechanics which would have undoubtedly exposed oil in the cylinder (verbatim what the dealership told me). Gaetta sold me a broken vehicle. I understand buying used is a gamble, and this one cost us. Just be mindful that when shopping at Gaetta, there is no warranty, for a reason, and once you're out the door with keys in hand, they want nothing to do with you. Terrible and unfortunate experience."
