"Went in day after Valentine's Day around 1:30 pm. Was taken to a table and our server took our drink order. Came back 5 minutes later to take our order & was told there were NO RIBS & that they were sold our from the evening before. Our server added that the next batch of smoked ribs would be ready by 4pm. So, we told our server to keep this table as is & we would be back then as we have errands to run & would be very hungry by then. We arrived back at 3:45 & walked over to our table. Our server retrieved fresh drinks for us and 20 minutes later our ribs came out. We didn't sweat the small stuff because things happen. I know great ribs take awhile to smoke. My father & myself wanted ribs & we were willing to work around this minor inconvenience which turned out to be a positive experience in the end. My third visit in a month. Interior looks great & well kept. Exterior of building needs to maintenance. Food was amazing & Service was good. I have a suggestion for the Ft Wayne location only. Please locate the handicap access & signs in front of the building from the current location on the far side of the building. Unless you have a parent who is really up in age or a disabled Veteran/Handicapped person who still wants to be independent by walking. You really can't understand how long of walk to the front door this is. Especially on a windy, rainy or snowy day. Just my opinion."
"We love this place! Get the pork belly pops and the pulled pork nachos. You won't be disappointed! Friendly and attentive staff as well! We come from Ohio just to dine here on occasion."
"Ended up getting the early bird special Texas style brisket combo with house baked beans and fries. It was a good meal. The brisket was a good cut with beautifully rendered fat. The mouth feel was a little lackluster. It was not dry, but not as moist as I personally like. It did have a soft smoke flavor, but nothing crazy with a bark that was a dark red, but not yet to meteor black. The beans were well made and delicious and the fries too. My better half got medium Buffalo boneless wings with fries and ranch. She too enjoyed her meal."
"I ordered the brisket which was mostly fat and greasy. My first experience here was great. Today was my second and last. 70 bucks on my husband and I only for the main portion of my meal to be left on my plate surrounded by oil."
