"Mmm the price is as you would expect. The food is a little on the salty side so it's not to my taste. The sushi doesn't really hold together but the fish is fine. Not amazing and not recommended. The place is small thus a little cramped but decor is nice and fancy. The staff was attentive and put in a wrong order for us, but they immediately fixed that by putting in the correct order and letting us keep the wrong one. A+ Apps: edamame, karaage, takoyaki, okonomiyaki, tempura Beans were fine, actually not too salted. Chicken was not your traditional Japanese karaage but nicely cut and flavorful. Octopus, pancake and tempura batter was all too soft and not crispy, pancake fell apart when picked up but otherwise they tasted fine. Main: 6 nigiri, 2 rolls, miso ramen, grilled salmon, kohitsuji, tuna tataki Everything here was SMALL but it is expected in a Japanese restaurant especially in this area. Miso broth was lacking in flavor and fat. Salmon was actually cooked and seasoned really well so I can recommend that. Lamb was not gamey but a bit too much salt on the outside. Tuna was seared fine but I don't think the flavor paired that well. Nigiri was fine.. the fish was alright but the rice was not made well. They did not hold together at all. Rolls were also decent. Can't go wrong with that I think. Lastly had the green tea cheesecake which was overpowered entirely by the cheese and you can't really taste the green tea flavor. The bottom is layered with a "brownie" but it felt more like warm and soft fudge cookie. More an American dessert than Japanese style but I did enjoy it."
"Delicious sushi options and lamb chops. We took advantage of the restaurant week menu with 5 courses. The service was great and the food was garnished well! Good vibes!"
"Went for resteraunt week dinner, was not as exciting as I would’ve expected. Some of the bites were good but definitely at a heavy premium."
"What a gem! At this point, we should have a membership to this place! We’ve done the sushi bar for a date night, we’ve celebrated anniversary here and a bunch date nights..the food is impeccable every single time! The fish is always super fresh and their sauces are super flavorful. The Godzilla and the matcha cheesecake are a must try! Staff are all very attentive, patient and accommodating, ambience is absolutely date night vibes."
