"The food was hot and fresh. They were out of coleslaw. They were short staffed, so the food took a lot longer than expected. The drink machine out front must have been out of order since they had to get drinks for you. Just not a very friendly experience."
"Smh!!!! I ordered a spicy chicken combo with an additional spicy chicken sandwich for my son, and a 3 piece mild combo with beans and rice for my self. I got my son's food and our drinks, and then the lady at the window told us to have a good night. I gave her my reciept, and was told to pull up. A young man came and brought a bag out to me, and we left. I should've checked the bag, because there were only 5 pieces of chicken in the box. They had my actual RECEIPT and still couldn't get the order right. They even put the receipt back in the bag. I can't.... 2/11/24 Edit: I swear, I tried to give it another shot. How hard is it to GIVE ME WHAT I ORDERED???!!! JESUS CHRIST! I HATE Y'ALL! HOW CAN YOU SCREW UP A SIMPLE GHOST PEPPER WING ORDER?"
"Saw a video where a bunch of chicken sandwiches were tried and rated. Popeye’s was rated “top,” so I wanted to try one for myself. Grabbed a chicken sandwich, a side of mashed potatoes and coleslaw. The sandwich was excellent. The mashed potatoes had a bit of ‘spicy heat’ to them. Unusual, but not bad. Both the sandwich and potatoes were piping hot, excellent for fast food. The Cole slaw was good. The staff was friendly and the wait for the food was reasonable. Good place to stop for some great food!"
"Hoping the food is worth it. We're sitting the parking lot still waiting for our drive-thru order ... it's been 30 minutes while employees (in uniform) are smoking weed in the car next to us... Update: We ended up being in the parking lot for 50 minutes total (approximately 10 in line to order, the rest waiting for our food). We eventually found out from the manager than one of the employees was sent out with our food and drove off with it instead. Thankfully the food was good and hot once we received it, but at least on this particular Sunday night, the store was not well-managed."
