"Steak 'n Shake has definitely changed in the last 10 years! Hopefully you are self-ordering proficient because when arriving inside you see the self-order kiosks waiting for you, only staff you see is working the drive-thru window and kitchen now. I don't believe you can even sit down and enjoy your meal in the restaurant any longer because there isn't a wait staff now. Neighborhood isn't too bad but it does get rough especially in the nighttime hours. Not sure what time they cut-off carry out and THIS IS NOT A 24 HOUR LOCATION. Food was cooked to order and quick at that, I think we were there for 10 mins total from start to finish."

"Seemed like only two employees were there. Waited 15 minutes before even getting to order and I was the second car in line. The one in front must have waited and 30 mins. The two employees I saw on Dec 26 at around 5 were running butts off and all my food was perfect. The gm needs to suck up to these two, seems like no one else shows up for you"

"this was my first time ever going into a steak ‘n shake. i’m not a big burger person but this was delicious! the burger was juicy and fresh. the fries were unsalted and forgettable but that didn’t take away from the burger at all. all the employees were nice. i have no genuine complaints. i will be back for sure"

"These guys are always so helpful. We stop here every now and then when we are in Indy. Our company hauls freight out of Caito down the street at post & 33rd. So when we do stop, we are in our semi. So we bobtailed once and pulled into the lot. One of the guys came out and took our order from us, I went inside and paid, and then he brought it out to us. That was so awesome. He is such a nice young man. The food is always great, and like I said, the service is beyond amazing. Such a great group of very respectful and helpful young men."
