"Y’all have to try Kabob Express in Evansville! It is one of the best hole in the wall restaurants I’ve had in a while. Friendly people, amazing food and something different. My boyfriend and i shared the grill plate high was your choice of 3 meats and two side and came with naan. My family got the Mediterranean bowls with chicken schwarma for one and gyro meat for the others. Fantastic flavorful food!"

"Popped in for a lunch special. Found out the pictures online are outdated and underpriced. After Covid that is to be expected. That was really the only complaint I had!! Now the positives. Food was hot and fresh even to go! I ordered the chicken Shawarma with double rice. It was delectable. I ate every last bit of it. It came with a white sauce, and another brown/red sauce. The Garlic Naan bread included with my meal was also fresh and delicious!. The rice had a ton of flavor and the chicken was slow roasted on the rotisserie, seasoned, carved off, grilled, and seasoned again. The price point was alittle high for lunch but not too outrageous at $19. 10/10 on everything!!!"

"My first experience was quite positive. I'm glad we have decent Mediterranean cuisine here in Evansville. It absolutely holds up to what you find in the bigger cities. Prices are a little elevated but the quality was there to back it up. I tried the lamb gyro plate with rice and salad. It was more than enough and tasty. The lamb was cooked right, and the rice was above average. I will say their naan bread is fantastic. That is worth the stop all by itself. The staff was good, very busy. The facility was clean and kept up. I'll be looking to return, and I'll bring some friends. I'll be trying the chicken shawarma and the hummus based on review recommendations next. They also have a drive thru!"
