"We felt bad for the lone server who seemed to be trying to manage everything by himself. The woman who greeted us seemed like she was doing us a favor by taking our drink order. It took almost two hours from waiting to order to getting our food, which the food was okay at best. Maybe just an off day, but the owners or manages should ensure a better experience than what we received or close their doors until they get their act together."

"Had breakfast at the newly open Salvin General Store. Nice atmosphere and great service. Lots of old Selvin memorabilia. We ordered pancakes with orange juice and omelette with hash browns. The pancakes were ok, but not special. Some blueberries would have been nice with the simple maple syrop. The hashbrowns were cold. We noticed that the cook makes them ahead of time and serves them cold to the customers. That is not good. A little more effort to make the food special is needed at this place. We will not return."

"Stopped in today for their soft opening and it was delicious and the prices are great. I had Coffee, hash browns with cheese, 2 biscuits and Sausage gravy, plus two bags of ice all for $11.50. Please support Lana and her team as they bring back a long standing tradition in North Eastern warrick count. It’s worth the drive."
