"TJ Maxx isn't what it used to be. Things were still priced at much more than I'd normally pay for them. The clearance prices weren't bad. Much smaller selection of clothes than they used to have."

That being said, you can find some great deals on must have items or special gifts. For example, I came across an 18" F.A.O. Schwartz nutcracker regularly priced at $69.00 that had been marked down to $34.99. Nearly 50% off! Not too bad."
