"Customer service is clearly not a priority at the Jasper, IN CVS as I was waiting for my prescription to be filled and got to listen to the staff at the pharmacy belittle two customers over the phone and one in the drive up window. My turn came and I was rudely in formed that my license was expiring in August…this is February, I was thinking it was still good. Then as I had presented my work comp card to the clerk which she paid no attention instead carrying on ringing the order to the point of payment before finally looking at me, the customer, giving an eye roll and with disgust sayin, “great, now I have to do this all over again.” A few moments at a separate system and she informs me that she needed an authorization from the doctor. I tell her ok I’ll wait, thinking that the electronic script from the doctor was a form of authorization??? Anyway I was waiting for another 15 minutes before another tech rudely asked if my wife and I were waiting for something…we explained that we were waiting for the prescription and the other tech exclaimed that we were responsible for getting the authorization from the doctor and that it could take days. I called the number on the CVS work comp card provided by my work comp handler and was assisted by a very apologetic agent that explained that it was in fact the pharmacy that should have requested the authorization and that it would have only taken a few minutes not days. I was now running late for my shift, in pain and extremely ill tempered. The poor reviews I have read are not knee-jerk reactions for a pharmacy that has “bad days” but are disgruntled customers in need of a better experience during times of need."
"I have never experienced anything like it. Called in to inquire why I was told they didn’t have the script when in fact they did have the order. The pharmacy tech was literally yelling in the background “give me the phone, I’ll talk to her, I’ll throw it away!” I heard it multiple times. I’m appalled."
"I would give negative stars if I could with this pharmacy, the two female (Techs) are super rude, disrespectful and extremely unhelpful. I had Infulenza A and they absolutely refused to give me my antibiotics because they were sent to another pharmacy prior even after 2 attempts from the doctor. Recommend Sheldon's and Genoa depending on your health needs."
"If I could give ZERO STARS I would. Worst pharmacy ever. The pharmacist is very rude. I had to have a prescription sent to this pharmacy because my regular pharmacy was out of stock. When I called to check and make sure it was ready. The pharmacist told me that my doctor accidentally sent it to the CVS in Jasper, TN instead of the CVS in Jasper IN. When I started to ask the pharmacist a question she seriously hung up on me. I'm glad I don't have to use this as my regular pharmacy, would not recommend to anyone. Got to the pharmacy, and they told me they would expedite it and it would take about an hour so I waited in their waiting area just for them to call me back up after 45 minutes and tell me when they expedited it that It didn't take and I would have to wait another hour. Ridiculous!!"
"My 90 year old parents were afraid and in tears yesterday after returning from your store. The pharmacist is attacking the elderly every time. I run a predominant restaurant here in town. I shared my story with some other 12 people. They each had a negative past story. So none of the other local pharmcies in town offer Tri Care insurance. So the elderly is coming into CVS more often. So due to an angry pharmacist, this town is being abusive to the elderly. If this is not solved, I will not stop."
