He said there would be a service charge for looking at it plus parts! It is an over $300 microwave. And he fixed it for me at a fraction of the cost of a new one!!"

I declined the repair since I didn't want to pay for something that may not fix my problem. So now I'm just on the hook for the labor for diagnosis and trip fee. Instead, I purchased the parts myself from an OEM distributor who told me I can return the parts if they don't work. The cost of the parts was much lower than this company quoted as well."
