"Do not recommend. I took my 2012 jku here for a lifter knocking. When I got it back I had it for a week and the check engine light came on for cylinder 6 misfire, so I called and Mark said bring it in and let me check it out. I took it back and dropped it off on a Sunday he was gonna look at it Monday. 8 days later I've not heard a word from him so I call and he says he replaced spark plugs and thermostat. Now I owe him $358 for work he never even called to ask if I wanted him to do it. I've never met a mechanic shop that doesn't call and say hey this is what I found do you want me to go ahead and do the work. Anyhow I pay the money and don't say anything drive the 1 hr 30 mins back home just for the check engine light to come back on within 200 miles. I'm all for supporting smaller business and local shops. If I wasn't I wouldn't make a 3 hour round trip with these gas prices. Very poor communication is my biggest complaint. 2nd would be that if they weren't sure of the problem then don't play guessing games on someone else's money."

"The rear brakes went out on my way to work this week and I called many places trying to get the issue resolved. I knew it would be a challenge for someone to get me in quickly and I needed it fixed fast. I texted Wheat's and they responded immediately. They said bring it by now and a short time later called to let me know it was finished. My rear brakes had a serious issue that required a lot of replacement parts. They took on the job, finished it quickly and were even kind enough to look at a coworkers electrical issue and they fixed that as well.
