"Let’s start by saying Chris was a delight. He was quite busy but managed to give us excellent service. Made us feel like the only table. The food was amazing! I felt like I was back at my grandmas house when I was a child. I have not been to a place that has checked all the boxes in quite a while. I was blown away and this has definitely been out on my list to revisit."

"My husband and I had dinner here tonight. He had never been before and I haven’t been in many years. It was so refreshing to see that it was yet again a great experience. I had raved about how wonderful it was to my husband for years, and we finally took the time to come. I was so hopeful that we wouldn’t be disappointed and we most certainly were not! It was just as I had remembered! Emily, our server, was delightful! She was obviously quite experienced. I don’t believe we could have had better service anywhere! The entire staff was pleasant and friendly. We chose the shrimp and chicken tenderloins. Both were delicious, as were all of our side dishes! We left with full bellies and plenty of leftovers. We will most definitely be returning again soon."

"This is a hidden gem. I went for a client's Thanksgiving celebration and the food was like it was home cooked by granny. Homemade biscuits and apple butter. Fried chicken, mashed potatoes, green beans, corn, salad, beets and cottage cheese. Everything was tasty. You know when food is good because it's quite in the room. I will definitely be back. Unfortunately I don't have any pictures because we dug right in. You won't be disappointed."

"I enjoyed the atmosphere. The service was good. The chicken was good, too. But the salad and sides were sad in all honesty. They could really raise the bar by serving fresh green beans, for instance. If you were paying for food alone, it would be overpriced. HollyHock really shines with its family style dining. This place seems best fit for larger parties. I would give this place 3.5 stars if possible."
