Reviews
"Tried Le Peep for the first time today. Wasn’t planning to review so I didn’t take pictures but it was just so bad I feel compelled to warn others to steer clear. Wasn’t busy at all but still took a long time for the server to bring water or come back to take the order. Never cleared plates. Loud and echoey and that was with only a few tables of people so I imagine when it’s full it gets pretty loud in there. Could use some sound dampening decor for sure. Tables, chairs, and spacing was nice. Tried the Hoosier bread and it was dense over cooked dough with barely any toppings. Would not recommend. My bf got the biscuits and gravy with a side of bacon and I can’t believe they even put out what he was served. I wish I took a picture because it was comical how bad it looked. Completely watered down to the point the sausage was separated out. You could tell by looking at it that it was awful. And the biscuits were so gummy they just immediately glued themselves to the roof of your mouth. The worst biscuits and gravy we’ve ever tried. I got an omelet with well done home fries. The home fries weren’t even done let alone well done as I requested. The egg on the omelet was dry and over done. And the ingredients inside weren’t even cooked in, just kind of laid down with a dry egg blanket folded over them which is a real lazy way of making an omelet. They forgot my toast and overall everything was barely warm at best which again they weren’t busy at all. Total for two came to just under $47 before tip. Which if it was all really good I wouldn’t have had a problem with the price but because it was awful made the entire experience that much worse. Don’t waste your money."
"I went there on a Wednesday morning around 8:15 a.m.; we had a nice young lady (tall with short red hair); she was very attentive and sweet. I've been to Le Peep's up North, but it's been awhile; definitely will be returning to this one."
"My husband and I decided to stop by for breakfast on a Monday morning. We had a beautiful meal, there was no wait time, the food came out fresh, hot and well seasoned, without a long wait. We got the herdsman omelet and the chicken and waffle. The staff was very attentive and courteous. It was a great experience."
"Wife and I decided to try out the new location and we were both excited, overall we had a very positive experience. Getting seated was a wait 10-15 min maybe but we did have to wait outside for s bit as other customers were waiting inside as well. (Very limited seating to wait) Once we were seated it took a couple minutes to be greeted and waited on but it was extremely busy and staff still trying to get use to roles and responsibilities. Our server took our drink order which we received quickly but our food order took a while to get. We found out by a staff member that our order was never put in and got skipped over but it was being made first thing, very nice of them to address the issue and take care of us.( he offered to comp our order but it was no big deal) Not sure if the pop was free refills, I assume not as it was served in cans with a glass cup and ice and the coffee was decent. I order Herdmans omelet with fries and my wife got the Large order of French Toast. Food turned out really well and very tasty. The pricing of the food seemed high but everything is so expensive nowadays so they are just being competitive and also trying to make money. Our order was under 30 dollars so not terrible? Overall it was a great experience and we totally understood the situation so we will be back to try out again."
