"Desk service was sub par, paid for a tire rotation and it never was even done, never checked the air in the tires either, same front driver tire showing the same low tire pressure before I dropped the car off, that is literally one of there main jobs is to rotate and air it up so I had to run back in the store and tell them and pull my car up so they could air them all up. I will never come back to Firestone, I use tire discounters and I only used Firestone because they were the next closest shop and tire discounters couldn’t get the car in today but next time I’ll try somewhere else. Just over these workers ripping people off, paid money for a service that was never received and I bet it’s happening to a lot of people."
"I took my car there about two weeks ago to get a noise looked at that my car was making. They didn’t even look at my car for a few days and i understand it is busy but there was NUMEROUS times they said they’d call me back the same day and they never did, I had to call them. Eventually, they told me they did not hear a noise, so I asked if they drove it for more than 15 minutes since that’s when the noise was starting every time I drove and they said no, so I asked them to do so. They then told me the next day that it was my brakes and the caliper not releasing that was making a noise. I had already replaced these about a year ago so I was doubtful but assumed that they knew what they were doing and said to go ahead with the work. I got my car back about a week later and they told me that the problem was solved but as I drove home, the noise came back so I called and made an appointment at 9 AM 2 days after picking it up because of my schedule, so I dropped it off that day (friday) and they didn’t get my car back to me or look at it AGAIN, until Tuesday, almost a week later even with an appointment . Then, they told me that it was my driveshaft that was damaged (why they didn’t tell me about this before, I’m not sure because it was pretty obviously damaged) but they said I could still drive on it for a while and I would be fine, even if it broke so we asked them not to do the work. I was skeptical about their opinion so I did some googling on my own and a broken drive shaft is in fact VERY dangerous, or can be if it breaks. So, I took it to somewhere else to get a second opinion, and they told me that the car was extremely dangerous to drive, that my entire driveshaft was falling apart, and all of my ball joints needed replaced, the U joint damaged, and the shaft needed rebuilt completely. I could’ve been seriously injured driving that car like they told me to. I’m glad I took the initiative to do my own research but I’m extremely disappointed in their lack of attention and not listening to me about what I was hearing in the car that I’ve drove for over 7 years now. I know when something is wrong and they simply would not listen to me, they even tried to tell me it was “just tire noise” when it was clearly a metal on metal sound. Extremely disappointed and scary that I could’ve cause a bad accident had I not taken it somewhere else. Will not be coming back here and I do not recommend this place for anything accept maybe a simple oil change. I appreciate your guys’ time, but it was horrible work and communication."
"Made appointment at 10:19 AM by phone. Approx -11:15 am Dropped car at Firestone in Greenwood. Went to Lunch across the Street. Checked in at 1: 06 pm - car not finished yet. Checked in again at 4:06 - told 2 cars ahead of my car. Told that I could take car to pick up shopping purchases - Assured that car would be in the shop in 30 min. Assured that I would not lose my spot. Directed to leave new tires just inside of side door to shop. Moved tires to agreed spot by myself. Took car, picked up goods across the street. Returned car and key 20 minutes later. Assured that I did not loose my spot. Walked to restaurant for Dinner. Returned at 6:30 pm - same associate that assured me the tires would be done today. Now - hes says, I am sorry- I will not be able to get to your car today. I replied- What? He said, Dont have enough Techs. I said, I will take my car. Loaded the new tires in the passenger seat. Difficult to drive with such a load in a small car. 8 hours and nothing to show for it! Just cold feet and fingers from walking store to store. These guys are going for Customer Service Advocates of the year! Bless there little Hearts! Grandma would say!!! Zero stars is not a choice. Must rate at one star..."
"Experienced issues with my truck after having the oil changed. The mechanic broke the plate under my truck that covers the oil plug/pan right in front of me. It wasn't fixed or replaced. They didn't put enough oil in and now my truck has a knock in the engine. They told me my truck is older and a piece of junk, what did I expect from them. I have a very good condition, clean, 2006 Chevy trailblazer. Now I may have to have a new engine. I will NEVER recommend or be going back here. Stetson is a lair."
