Denny's 8808 North Michigan Road, Indianapolis, IN 46268

"We went to eat after my daughter's swim sectionals and had a group of 10. They were great and got us seated together even though we let them know we didn't mind being separated. That is where the good ended. We are not a picky group and we understand 10 people is a lot to accommodate and we weren't in a rush. The waitress was super nice but the manager was awful. My husband ordered a sprite and it was out of syrup he let the waitress know so she went to ask the manager and she told the waitress to just take his drink and add water to it....even the waitress was confused. He switched his drink to a diet coke. The food was okay but with there being 10 people there were some orders wrong. The manager could not handle the situation at all she was trying to help the waitress pass out food and she walked away frustrated. I helped the waitress get the food handed out and figure out what orders were wrong. Only 1 was completely wrong the rest of us just dealt with the little mess ups and ate what we got. The manager then came out to ask how the 1 order that was completely wrong how he wanted his egg on his burger. He requested runny(over easy). Brought out his burger with no egg at all. At this point he just ate it. We had to ask for refills the whole time. Our bill was 192 dollars that needed split in half between 2 parents and the manager was extremely rude handling the bill and splitting it. It took 2 hours from start to finish. We left a 40 dollar tip and I hope every bit went to the waitress and not one dime to that manager. The waitress needs a raise and a promotion and trained to be a manager. The current manager needs retrained. Date was 2/3/2024 at around 430pm."

"Had lunch at Denny’s on Michigan Rd. yesterday, with my wife and mother. The food was plentiful, hot, and delicious. Our service was exceptional. Our server was courteous and professional. She memorized our orders perfectly. Our food was timely served with CLASS. I told our server, Monisha, that she is as good as any server in any restaurant in Indianapolis! We’ll be back!"

"First of all, food was great, server was great. However, when we were there today, they were out of crayons for kids menus, kids mac and cheese (which from the photo is only Kraft), Coke, and ice cream. Very strange. Also what happened in the bathroom to warrant the sign? It didn’t effect my visit at all im just nosey and it specifying in caps that hand washing sinks are only for washing hands, I gotta know."

"This restaurant needs attention: which is recognition. In the entire Indiana state, the Denny's service is going bad due to effect after Covid and shortage labor, this place still keeps up with standards. The food is great, staffs are friendly and will be patient. The experience is not from my own orders, it's based on other people's experiences too."
