"We locked our keys in the car at this rest stop with 3 kids and a puppy!! B and Aaron came to the rescue immediately- they went completely out of their way to help us and truly saved the day! I will never forget their generosity and kindness!"
"Large welcome center in Alabama for passenger vehicles and large transport trucks. Lots of space to stretch your legs, walk your pets, or have a roadside picnic. Vending machines are outside in the back of the building. Bathrooms are clean and well maintained."
"15Dec2023 My wish fulfilled. Sweet Home Alabama. Tom Hank’s’ character from movie Forest Gump is from Alabama, right ? I got to take few pics here in front of welcome sign. The nature and centre is in good shape. It is well maintained."
"We have traveled the US a good deal by car and we are always impressed by the beautiful rest areas in the State of Alabama. They are plentiful, always extremely well maintained and most are staffed by friendly and knowledgeable people. This center on I59 North, near exit one, is no exception. Many picnic tables, lots of shade and convenient vending machines with credit card slots. Alabama is an example."
"Clean facilities, lot of snacks - didn’t see employees but I did come late, they preach a lot of safety things which is good for the road, not enough of that in current times. They had free outlets to charge your phone - free sitting areas to relax, trash cans - it has the necessities. Wheel chair accesible so they’re overall white good!"
