"I’m an older lady that has had 2 bladder surgeries. This is the only DG in Peru that will not let you use the restroom. I refuse to shop with DG any longer. The employees used to have compassion for their customers!"

"Chick working tonight thought it was funny to have the doors locked at 9:57 and refuse to let me in even though there were other customers in the store in plain sight. I even showed her the time on my phone and told her I just literally needed to go to the register with intentions of adding $$ to cash app card. She again laughed and muttered "nope, oh well." We are regular customers of this store which is 1 of 4..soon to be 5 in our county. That was an absolute trash display of customer service especially for a transaction that would have taken a minute. Highly aggravated and disappointed in the way I was just treated at this store!!"

"I was in your store Nov 4. The floors were terribly dirty. I felt like I needed to go home and shower after shopping there. The staff was pleasant and helpful. Will not be shopping here in the future"

"This, of the four (yes, four!) Dollar Generals in our small town, is the worst. It's not clean, there are holes consistently present, and staff are not friendly in my experience. They are gruff, bored, and just want to get you finished so they can get back to what they were doing or to the next in line. Products on shelves are haphazard and usually out of place, and items seem to be stacked on top when stocked, with misplaced products never returned to their proper location. Expired or out of date goods remain on the shelf. To their credit, they are a staple for dry goods in this part of town. Prices are fairly reasonable for most products. Our little town couldn't keep Kmart when they had to close so many stores. We have no other options to speak of, and Dollar General fills a great need in our community. I just wish they were better managed, and this is the bottom of our Peru DG barrel."
