"Anybody like to shop at Journeys? I do! However, they need to re-evaluate their practices.... Gabby asked for a pair of Timberland boots for her birthday. They didn't have them in the store so the store ordered for them to be shipped to the house. They arrived yesterday with only 1 gray leather shoe string. I bought the expensive waterproofing spray (Crep) that Journeys sells and treated them. I contacted customer service this morning to have another shoe string shipped....nope, they can't do that. I would have to ship the boots back and hope they send 2 strings next time. Oh, and get this, it can take as long as 4 weeks to get this accomplished. They will send me a return label and ship replacement boots and reimburse me for the waterproofing spray instead of just sending me a string. What kind of financial sense does this make?!?! It would make more "cents" to them to just send a string! I have bought VANS (shoes and backpacks), UGGS, and Timberlands in the past from Journeys... I'm super disappointed and will likely reconsider where I buy shoes in the future. All this for a shoe string....the frustration has become a matter of principle."
