"Super nice park! Equipment is fun for the kids and well maintained. Bathrooms are clean. Nice area for picnics or parties."
"I have spent a great deal of time at Wald Park. My grandson played football on the 5th grade Vestavia Hills boys team. This was such a good experience for both of us. My grandson made alot of friends from the team, I was able to make good friends with some of the dads. I highly recommend participation in some sport at Vestavia Hills. The coaches were great teachers I am appreciative of all they did for my grandson."
"Very nice park. Vestavia has done a great job. Google directions need work as getting to the correct entrance was challenging. Parking is lacking right now (5/21/2023), but they're working on more as I type."
"Tons going on here! Great ballpark. Parking is quicker if you park in the front of hwy 31. The concession stand serves Chick-fil-A. Great area to walk and it’s a very clean facility. Remember to watch your kids. Parents can be such complete morons and neglectful leaving their kids at a playground no matter what affluent area you’re in. All it takes is one horrible incident. WATCH YOUR KIDS."
"I am so very impressed with every aspect of the new park/the entire complex. I love that they planted trees and wildflowers, so it has a much more natural feel, like it always should have been. There was a time frame in general in which nature was metaphorically “out of style” and it seemed the thing to do was to flatten all trees and cram a bunch of construction in an area- I’m completely speaking about most places in general, and I’d say maybe 13/15 ish years ago. I’m SO, so so happy that the park is as it should be. I took these pictures as it was getting dark, also some look quite similar but I couldn’t decide."
