"The Birmingham, AL Piggly Wiggly stores hold a special place in my heart. I grew up shopping and working in them and sometimes miss it, though they were much better to me than I was to them. The owners are SUCH good people. The district manager is as knowledgeable and kind. The store manager at this location is exceptional; a good, hard-working man and a role model for any young person looking to move up in the world. Mr. Rick is a close 2nd. "The piggly wiggly is definitely a good place to shop. Always fresh foods,clean store ,fast check out and everything I need. Let me mention they have a section in the store witch is totally Mexican foods n ingredients. I've been trying different sweets from this section and so glad I did. Found some new favorites. They are the best prices in this area very very reasonable. I'd suggest trying them out. Helped lower my grocery bill. They always have tide cheaper than Dollar General if your a tide user like myself."
