"Ron ( the owner ) is a great guy , my boyfriend is an electrical engineer and said that Ron goes above and beyond the work of other places ( advanced , etc) . The biggest problem with chain stores is that their alternators are made in Mexico , etc , and they have a complete lack in quality control / inspections. Ron goes above and beyond simply replacing triple diodes slip rings , etc...and puts heavy insulating varnish on the stator. All in all have been happy with his work, a lot of people replace alternators when in reality the battery is bad , and vice versa, which leads to one or the other failing at times."
