"Small place but good food. Cheesesteak tacos were fantastic."
"Santo Taco is a small, family-owned restaurant that serves up delicious Mexican food. The menu features a variety of tacos, burritos, quesadillas, and other dishes. I recently had the opportunity to try the pastor tacos, and they were absolutely amazing. The pastor meat was perfectly cooked, with a nice char on the outside and a juicy, tender interior. It was seasoned with a blend of spices that was both flavorful and complex. The tortillas were warm and soft, and the toppings were fresh and flavorful. I also really enjoyed the salsas that were served with the tacos. There was a mild salsa and a hot salsa, both of which were delicious. The mild salsa was perfect for those who like a little bit of heat, while the hot salsa was definitely for those who like it spicy. Overall, I had a wonderful experience at Santo Taco. The food was delicious, the service was friendly, and the atmosphere was inviting. I would highly recommend Santo Taco to anyone looking for great Mexican food in Valparaiso"
"First time coming here, and the service and the food were amazing. Had the birria tacos, and they were delicious. This is my new favorite Mexican restaurant. Recommend Santo Tacos highly!!!"
"My family and I tried Santo Taco today (first time for me, second for my fam) and I have to say I’m quite impressed. There was no wait at 1pm on a Sunday, but there were patrons there. The staff immediately sat us and took our drink order. Table was impeccably clean. The menus you could tell were wiped clean before being given to us (sticky menus are a pet peeve of mine). We did have to Order chips and salsa as it’s not free here HOWEVER I will say they gave us a large portion and they were $3-4 for the whole table. (I can’t remember the exact amount. $3.50 maybe?). Drinks were served within 2 minutes of ordering. I got the unsweet tea and you can tell it was fresh. All silverware and drink ware were clean. I ordered the street tacos Al pastor. 3 of them with the rice and beans. They were fantastic! The pic attached is when I was almost finished.. they didn’t come out that messy. The flavor was fantastic, no fat at all. Loads of fresh cilantro! Everything tasted crazy fresh! All for $11. I think the prices are a great bang for your buck. The service was phenomenal, our server was kind and she checked on us frequently with refills. 5/5 I recommend this place."
"I took my wife out to dinner at 5:15 pm on a Thursday evening. This was our first time coming here and we heard good things about it. Right when we walked in, it was obvious that it was a very fresh and hip Mexican restaurant. Everything was clean and new. There were only a few other tables taken, so we were seated right away. Our server came right over and gave us our menus and took our drink order. The menu was large, and it had a good variety of dishes. From street tacos to Burritos, there should be something for everyone. We started with the Empanadas for our appetizer and ordered some tacos for dinner. After a short wait, they brought out the Empanadas and they were large and tasted OK. They were much better with the Pico de Gallo. It was not my favorite, but I’m glad I tried them. For dinner I went with the Carnitas street taco, and it was very tender, but on the greasy side. There really wasn’t that much flavor either. It would have been better with roasted peppers instead of fresh ones, but that is my personal choice. It was good for the money. My wife got the fish tacos and she said they too were lacking in flavor. She said the fish really has no flavor, so it needed something else. Our overall impressions of this place were that it was a nice clean place to go on date night, but there are other Mexican restaurants that I like much better. I am glad I tried it out."
