"When we first arrived, they didn’t have actual menus and required for us to use our phones for a QR code. We don’t like using our phones when we go out to dine. That’s the only thing I wish would improve. We ordered the fish and chips and a burger, and they were pretty good. The Brussels sprouts were a little too drowned in sauce though and made them soupy."

"Went here for date night and had a good time. Our waitress Wendy was friendly and easy to talk with. Even though the food took a little while to be prepared, it was worth the wait. I can’t recommend the flank steak appetizer enough, it was awesome. I have no real complaints with the food other than that the brussels sprouts were just ok, the orange flavor was too subtle and they could have been crispier. The restaurant was packed and I would definitely recommend a reservation. I hope that they continue to improve the atmosphere of the restaurant, noise, dampening, foam, and decorations would elevate this place to the next level!"

"Traveled to Crawfordsville from Ellettsville on the motorcycle with my wife this this place (took about 2hrs because of detours). But for me it was well worth it! We sat @ the bar (better atmosphere). I had the blackened salmon mashed potatoes and squash/zucchini. I like most fish, not so much with salmon. It was the bomb! All of my lunch was awesome. Bartender was awesome. Her name was? But just look for the good looking girl covered in tattoos. I will be back! Wife had grilled chicken salad...as always!"

"8/02/23 Dinner. My wife had the steak frittes (3), with a side salad (3), and I had a Buffalo chicken wrap (3, siracha sauce) and a side salad. The waitress said she would sub-out my fries for a side salad. She took my fries and then charged me $3.99 for the salad. She never said there would be a charge for the salad. Since there wasn't a paper menu to look at, I had to trust what she was saying. We had to order off the server's ipad. Molten lava dessert was a failure; the manager took it off the bill. Ambiance = 3 Food = 3 Service = 3 Taking my fries = 2 No paper menu = 2 Overall = a disappointing 2.6 out of 5 5 = Excellent: Uniquely satisfying. 4 = Very Good: Better than expected. 3 = Average: An everyday experience. Most fall into this category. 2 = Fair: Below par. Dirty smells. & / or flies."

"Although a little tough to find, it's worth the effort!! The black letters on the window aren't visible when driving up and down the street so just look for the chairs out front on the corner and keep looking!! From the minute we walked in, the bartender made us feel welcome and right at home. Several regular customers were there also, definitely giving the place a homey feel. It's an elevated home but a home nonetheless! The decor is crisp and clean without being cluttered and overwhelming. Anthony Bourdain on the wall ensures excellent food and even better conversation! We had the cheese curds, chicken wrap and fish and chips. Everything arrived quickly and definitely cooked to order, it was all piping hot and fresh. Perfect portions left us nice and full but not leaving anything and not overly stuffed. Francis & Mount is a win and we'll be back if ever in the area!"
