Johnson's Fish & Shrimp

"Opened my box and the looked at my meal and the breading wasn't even cooked all the way threw....ther was still batter on my shrimp....so I found 1 out of them that looked cooked and I bit into it and a lot of water came shooting out....the shrimp was so small....the smell was bad....do better man ur carrying a name of Johnsons and u food is bad"

"Overall I'm comparing this food to other establishments and my personal cooking and I wasn't impressed with it. We actually passed this restaurant while traveling to Joliet and decided to give it a try and it wasn't a good choice. The customer service was good and the environment was good but the food is where they didn't meet expectations. It definitely lacked flavor and I don't even think it was fully cooked. We got the catfish filets and fries and we ended up wasting about half of it. I gave the food three stars because of the quality of the fries the fish was a one or two star. No I don't plan to go back to give it another try and if we weren't driving and eating I would've just asked for a meal replacement."

"Really glad this establishment is still open. New owners, but still great Shrimp and Fish dinners. Been a customer for over 30 years. Staff is great as well. Keep up the good work."

"No greeting, no smile, no eye contact, no personality and blunt answers. The young adult did come from the back and said, "May I help you". The facilities were neat. A pile of breaded meat was stacked in a bin out on the counter. Left without ordering. First impressions are lasting."
