"Food is great; however, service is atrocious consistently. When orders are phoned in, it is known to add 45 minutes to the quoted expected ready time. My last experience cemented my decision to cancel future patronage of the establishment. My last order was phoned in at just after 5:00 pm. 45 minutes completion time was what I was told my order would be ready. I arrived at 6:15pm to pick up my order and was told, ' not enough food was prepared to complete my order and wait would and additional 60 wait time. Born and raised in Gary, I try to patronize businesses in Gary at every opportunity. I have drawn the line with Phenomenal Ribs."

"BAD SERVICE!! I hate to say this about an establishment but this has been a long time coming. This place is riddled with problems, I don't know if its mismanagement or incompetence. When you try and patronize them you're lucky if they answer the phone after 15min of trying. My husband tried calling for 30min once, gave up and drove there WHILE STILL CALLING only to walk in and hear the phone ringing unanswered. IF you get through good luck getting your food before you grow old and die. There's always a different excuse for the poor service and its a shame because the food is actually good. This place could be extremely profitable if they just got their act together. I've purposefully driven further and paid more at other places because they Answer.The.Phone. and I get my order before the seasons change!"

"Such a hit or miss I called order in did not know cash only? My ribs were sooooo hard maybe they thought the sauce would soften them up absolutely not. New location old location still worse food. The price and the service do not add up. Very disappointed"
