"I have always loved Lou’s since they opened … we order deep dish and thin crust . Both are delicious. Tonight instead of pick up I did Uber Eats . The driver accepting the order didn’t fulfill it .. but , the manager of Lou’s made sure I got my order . They were so pleasant and helpful . And we looked forward to our pizza which was delicious!! It was delivered by one of their own drivers and arrived hot , fresh and quickly. I love this business and appreciate their staff so much. Thank you so much "

"This location must be doing something different than the rest. It's simply not the same. The crust is different, the taste is different. The over all feel is a manufactured feel vs cooked/prepared in a kitchen feel. Lou's thin crust is supposed to be light, buttery, and flakey. This place is doughy, chewy, almost pancake like. It feels like it was preformed, frozen, and shipped to the "restaurant" to be heated and served. I grew up eating lou's, literally a staple of my childhood, unfortunately this location is Lou's in name only. It's really not very good."

"So here's the bottom line. I know a thing or two regarding the high quality of food and service this family's name is known for going way back in the day in Chicago. Based on a few personal experiences here with both the quality of customer service at this particular carry out location along with the product I would have to agree with the numerous disappointing reviews posted by other customers. This Crown Point, IN location is still not delivering a product that is in alignment with the expectations of the brand. Until things improve I would recommend either enjoying the authentic product when closer to Chicago at a sit down restaurant or go for a competitor in the Northwest Indiana area such as Giordano's. "Yuck! Deep dish pizza was all crust and very minimal cheese. I ORDERED A CHEESE PIZZA. No sauce just smooshed chunky unseasoned tomatoes on top. I think they ran out of or forgot to salt. Absolutely No flavor whatsoever. I was so excited to try a Lou Malnatis pizza but was very disappointed. Spent way too much on this garbage. Will not be ordering again."

"The experience was fine. The pizza is not good at all. We got a large deep dish sausage pizza. The crust tastes like yeast, the sausage is almost flavorless and tastes like its been mixed with ground beef. I don't know how this could even be considered a deep dish pizza. It was more like a thick crust pizza, with not even enough cheese to make a thin crust pizza taste good. The only part that was okay, was you could taste fresh tomatoes in the sause, which was also lacking in flavor. Not worth $30. I wanted to try it. I did that, I will probably never eat it again."
