"This food was so delicious I had smoked chicken yesterday!! Oh my goodness! You could taste that it was genuinely smoked and the barbecue sauce was so delicious. They even took the time to put my piece of bread inside of a separate bag so that it wouldn’t get soggy, I haven’t had that happen before the fries were steam hot and I had the sauce on that too! The chicken was top quality they give whole wings here that are humongous I almost thought it was a turkey wing lol"

"I tried the shrimp and catfish. My stomach was purring after eating. Fantastic! My husband got the half slab of ribs - unbelievably good seasoning, no need for sauce unless you crave it. I have only ever liked pork ribs before, but I tried a bite and these beef ribs were as tender and tasty as prime rib. Will be ordering them with the catfish next time!"

"After a quick moment of playing hooky swing by to try their barbecue. Ordered the catfish, brisket, and ribs with some sides. New but friendly staff took my order and really made sure they got it right. The owner (Phil Glaze) was a character!! Ready to joke and talk to whomever was in the lobby area. The smoke was spot on!! The catfish was very good!!! Our ribs did not need the sauce, as advertised, but it was good anyway. Great potato salad and baked beans. The brisket was flavorful-though crumbly that day. We want to help this young business keep growing because the passion and talent are there--it will take the village to ensure he stays!! Don't come for fancy decor just be patient, be casual, and be ready to eat well. Thanks, Mr Glaze!!"

"Met the Lady who took my order on the way in. She was very pleasant and friendly with Fast Service. Ordered Sm rib tips dry w sauce on the side. Meat was Flavorful and extremely tender w good smoke and bark. Potato salad was also tasty. Tangy bbq sauce. Not a dine in restaurant. Overall Good Experience! Will Definitely be back."

"Overall: 3.6/5 - This is a competent BBQ joint that I'd order from again. Since it's carry out only I don't know if it warrants a special trip but definitely a stop when passing by on my way home. House: 3/5 - Carry out only with no in-house dining. The waiting area was clean. SLIGHT mildew smell makes me concerned about the fountain drink machine being cleaned properly. I didn't get a drink because of this. Service: 5/5 - Prompt service to take the order. The food was made fresh and packaged perfectly for transport. Food: 3.5/5 - I got a half slab, slaw, and potato salad. The sauce was nice; little kick, good flavor. The smoke on the ribs was proper. No problems with taste on the ribs but they were tough. I don't mind a little bite to a rib but this was closer to pull/gnaw. The slaw was fresh with crisp veggies. Potato salad was a nice surprise. The mustard style base was perfectly balanced against the mayo and a hint of apple cider vinegar provided a nice tang against the sweet relish. Price: 3/5 - Fair market pricing is consistent with other BBQ joints."
